Products
JPI ² plans to introduce its first product called ProtekXion™ by May 2022 because it utilizes disruptive technology that will revolutionize the way society deals with microbials and its applications in the surface disinfectant, personal protective equipment, air filtration, industrial paint, and medical adhesive markets are numerous.
With the capital from ProtekXion™ they plan to foray their patented technologies to leachate wastewater treatment with mobile water treatment solution called LeachAway™. This On-site system for landfill leachate filtration utilizes ProtekXion™ technology to make potable water that meets EU on-site water filtration requirements. DieselXtend™ is a cavitation technology that dramatically lowers CO2, SO2, and NOx emissions (Note: Detailed and confidential information is available on request) and improves diesel fuel efficiency by 6% through fuel treatment. That doesn’t require any modification to engines.
Opportunity ProtekXion™
ProtekXion™ is JPI ² antimicrobial formulation that is a proven disruptor in the surface disinfectant and personal protective equipment markets with its patented anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal (testing completed in 2022) nano solution. Through rigorous collaboration with the United States Government’s most advanced laboratory systems, Microbac Laboratories, fee-for-services testing at various certified local New England USA labs, chemical and engineering companies for specialized experimentation, element measurements and sample behavioral comparisons, Efficacy levels average 99.999% effectiveness on examined material surfaces during and after application.
States Government’s most advanced laboratory systems, Microbac Laboratories, fee-for-services testing at various certified local New England USA labs, chemical and engineering companies for specialized experimentation, element measurements and sample behavioral comparisons,
Efficacy levels average 99.999% effectiveness on examined material surfaces during and after application. Despite advantages of extended longevity, surfaces may be coated by the formulation multiple times to create a CUMULATIVE effect, i.e., increased applications of once a month versus perhaps every four or five months will increase the anti-viral activity of the surface. Stated differently, after each new application antiviral activity of the surface will INCREASE. The formulation will be CONSTANTLY destroying the virus despite the time of the previous application on that same surface.
Product is water-based with little to no risk (no measurable cytotoxicity) to people, plants, or animals. Does not include anti-viral or anti-bacterial drug agents.
The following illustration is a relative comparative description of JPI²’s efficacy in today’s broader anti-viral anti-bacterial contaminate disinfection marketplace.
Opportunity DieselXtend™
The opportunity to enhance performance and reduce post-combustion emissions of diesel fuel without changing the composition of the fuel, or adding or modifying associated engines or generators, is the focus of JPI²’s technology. JPI² has developed a mechanical process that complements ES&G goals and objectives while at the same time dramatically improves the performance of diesel fuel and associated engines and generators. Fuel treatment was tested on:
Hospital diesel generators
Industrial boilers
Large 400-600hp transport trucks and farm tractor diesel engines.
Documented field observations suggest remarkable O&M savings and performance:
Diesel fuel savings ranging 3 – 8% or perhaps more depending on asset.
40% reduction of GHG emissions and carbon intensity by way of reduction emission of NOx.
Reduction of soot particles and CO₂ in exhaust gas up to zero.
Reduction of waste flow up to zero in marine application in case of combustion Fuel #6.
Significant drop in engine operating temperature and improvement in performance of lubricating fluids.
The image below, from Statista, illustrates the cost of one gallon of diesel fuel in the USA as of February 2022 and compelling rise in price in just over one year. The cost of diesel fuel, per liter, in the EU, LatAm and Asia is higher.
Opportunity LeachAway™
A leachate is any liquid that, in the course of passing through matter, extracts soluble or suspended solids, or any other component of the material through which it has passed. The United States has over 1,250 landfill facilities, with the majority located in the South and Midwest. There are 491 landfills in the South, and 328 landfills in the West. There has been a significant decline in the number of landfills in the country since the 1990’s, 64 percent of MSW landfills were owned by public entities, while 36 percent were owned by private entities. Landfills are the final repository for liquid and solid waste from residential, industrial, and commercial sources. Despite strict statutory controls supporting leachate management, leachates from modern sites are increasingly found to contain a broad range of contagious viral and bacterial contaminants. Viral and bacterial contamination isn’t limited to established landfills but include other large sources: agricultural runoff, animal mature spills, industrial waste discharge, failing infrastructure and untreated sewage. The opportunity is to stave off water contamination from landfill, agricultural, and industrial leachates.
JPI² has developed a mobile and semi-mobile wastewater treatment technology that have advantages substantially differentiated from today’s approaches. They belong to the family of oxidation technologies, where an active agent (primarily OH- ions) integrates several techniques, including mechanical, ultrasonic, and electromagnetic cavitation, membrane and non-membrane water electrolysis, electro dialyses.
A combination of patented active and passive approaches to leachate and industrial waste-water treatment led to:
Sustainability of on-site required pre-treatment and treatment.
Significant reduction of treatment costs with increased energy efficiency, productivity, and end-result sustainability.
Reclamation of closed parts of landfill while increasing the life of open sections.
Advanced oxidation techniques deliver remarkable results, to include but not limited to:
Removing up to 95% of organic matter – lowering biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) – early in the process without removal of heavy metals, which leads to ability to use extracted organic matter as a fertilizer or other similar products.
Removing nearly 100% of heavy metals and up to 85% of salt of hardness while oxidizing remaining organic matters – lowering both chemical oxygen demand (COD) and BOD – just beyond initial stages of operation.
Removing of all NH4, Cl2 and other toxic gasses.
Testing of process outflows reveals significantly higher quality purified drinking water than in municipal water systems.
Removing and destroying hardly oxidized organic matter, ions of minerals, as well as dramatically lowering salinity while removing total dissolved solids (TDS) and sulfate.
Estimated inactivation log reduction (LR) of Log⁵ with efficacy of at least 99.9%.
The image below captures a brief comparison between JPI²’s approach and today’s common industry solutions, namely biological treatment, reverse osmoses, and combination of advanced oxidation and biological treatment. This comparison presents a compelling case for market potentials. JP2’s capabilities are designed to be on-site or before water is transported to a municipal waste-water facility, and at a fraction of cost in terms of operation and maintenance which benefits the customer – a monetized competitive advantage.
